The all-center super hit film Subramaniyapuram is in all ways set to be remade in Hindi is the latest buzz around kodambakkam. The remake is going to be directed by Anurag Kashyap of 'Dev D' fame.
Anurag Kashyap, the man has not only acclaimed for his direction, but also for his writing. Has has written for Sathya(Ram Gopal Varma), Nayak - The Real Hero(Shankar) and Yuva(Mani ratnam).
He has attended the audio launch of Eesan recently and bestowed his congratulations to the subramaniyapuram team. He had a long time conversation with sasikumar appreciating his work and he told him that if sasikumar wants to do a movie in Hindi, he would be penning the dialogues for the movie.Sasikumar, the director of Eesan is excited about being rewarded by the great diector Anurag Kashyap. He also feels that his movie is in the safe hands.
Anurag kashyap, being captivated by the storyline portraying the village violence is yet to conclude the casting for the film, except the female lead. The heroine of the movie is finalized as Vidya Balan. She is the apt person to play the role of Swathi, the director feels.

Vijay may start a new party ahead of 2011 election
Actor Vijay recently had a meeting with his fans on Monday. Reportedly it is a closed door meeting held in J S Kalyana mandapan(Vadapalani). He told his fans that he is about to start a new party ahead of 2011 election. The fans felt overpowered by hearing this news. Some suggested the actor to start a party of his own and some others suggested to have an alliance with AIADMK.Whatever goes, no news is officially announced to the press. So, the public can expect a new party start floating after the release of Kavalan.

Udhayanidhi pairs up with Shruti hassan
The hot cake on the dish is Udhayanidhi Stalin, the producer and the owner of Red Giant Movies banner is going to pair up with Shruti Hassan.
We already knew that Udhayanidhi has made a commitment with director Rajesh of "Boss Engira Baskaran" fame. It has been quite a long time they were in search of the heroine to pair opposite Udhayanidhi. Breaking the ice, the team reveals the female lead is none other than Shruti Hassan.
Shruti Hassan, the actress is currently working on her debuntant tamil film "7 Am Arivu", which is a grandeur. Following it, she has also got another biggie with Udhayanidhi. The film was titled as 'Oru kal oru kannadi' previously and now they have changed it to 'Nanbenda'. The movie is expected to start rolling in the coming month and it is a visual treat for sure.

K.Balachandar appreciates "Mandhira Punnagai"
'Iyakkunar Sigaram' K.Balachandar appreciates Karu. Palaniappan for his work in Mandhira punnagai. The independent-minded director has written a letter to Karu.Palaniappan praising his recently released Mandhira Punnagai. In the letter he points that the director cleverly crafted the movie expressing the human emotions and values in the present days and the screenplay of the movie was handled very well. He mentions that the film portrays the hurdles and the situation a young man faces in day today's life. In addition to Karu's acting, K.Balachandar also praised the work of music director Vidyasagar and comedian Sanhthanam's acting in the film.
