Raththa Charithram is trilingual movie (Hindi, Tamil and Telugu) raised hype among the audiences since the movie is based on a true story. The movie has two volumes. Both the volumes are integrated into a single part in the Tamil version and it got released today.
The main plot of the movie deals with the vengeance generated in a youth’s mind due to the violent behaviour of the political rivals. The movie is crafted around a true incident happened in the life of Paritala Ravindra, a political leader in Andhra Pradesh. The character of Paritala Ravindra is carried by Vivek oberai in the movie and actor Surya enacting the role of Maddelacheruvu Suri. Priyamani has acted as a female lead opposite Surya.
The movie starts with Gautham menon narrating the abstract of the movie’s first volume. Ram Gopal Varma, the acclaimed director got interested in taking a movie based on the political rivals in Andra Pradesh and he scripted it well to achieve the cinematic experience. The cinematography of the movie is blended with blood and violence. Surya has done justice to his role and his eye expressions are just brilliant, which reflects an avenging wrath in each and every frame. He has done a severe exertion for this movie. It reflects in the scenes shot in prison. Vivek oberai, played his part perfect as a rival youth turned political leader. Priyamani has not played a powerful role and she carried the role given to her, flawlessly throughout the movie.
Though, a severe work involved in the film, it makes the audience feel dragging in some portions. Overall, it is a biopic film and strictly not watchable for patrons below 18.
